Pre-production is one of my favorite parts of filmmaking. A screenplay is the creative blueprint. Before cameras roll, somebody has to turn those pages into a practical production plan.
Script Breakdowns
Scene-by-scene identification of cast, locations, props, wardrobe, vehicles, special requirements, and other production elements.
Production Budgets
Practical budgeting based on the screenplay, production approach, crew, cast, locations, equipment, schedule, and available resources.
Shooting Schedules

Creative Writing
Sometimes you just need somebody who can tell the story.
Not everything belongs in a screenplay. I also provide creative writing services for individuals, ministries, organizations, and businesses.

I enjoy digging into a subject, learning about it, finding reliable information, and turning that research into something people actually want to read.
Projects may include magazine-style articles, feature articles, informational pieces, historical articles, profiles, human-interest stories, blog articles, and content series.
Research-based work is developed using available online sources, with source verification and documentation appropriate to the project.

Working With Independent Budgets
I understand independent filmmaking. I’ve spent more than 20 years working on productions where every dollar matters. If you’re working with a limited budget, tell me. I’m always willing to discuss what you can realistically afford and look for practical ways to accomplish what you need.
That doesn’t mean every project can be done for every budget, but I’ll be straightforward about what I can do, what it will cost, and whether we can adjust the scope to better fit your budget.

I’m Stuart Miller, a writer, filmmaker, director, producer, and longtime youth-media mentor. I’ve spent more than two decades creating film and media projects and working with young people in front of and behind the camera.
My experience includes screenwriting, directing, producing, film budgeting, script breakdowns, production scheduling, creative writing, and developing projects from the first idea through production.

Before work begins, you’ll receive a written project agreement outlining the work to be completed, what you’ll receive, the project price, and the payment schedule.
Larger projects may be divided into milestones so payments are made as the work progresses. Escrow arrangements may also be available for larger projects when additional payment protection makes sense for both sides.
I may use AI-assisted tools for research, organization, brainstorming, and workflow. Every project I deliver is personally directed, reviewed, and revised by me. If your project has specific requirements regarding AI-assisted work, just let me know.
